Comprehensive Calculator Guide

Before choosing a car, find the price your salary supports. The calculator takes your net salary, the maximum share of it for repayments and your existing payments, then works out the largest loan at a flat annual rate and the top car price. On SAR 10,000 with no other loans, 4% over five years supports about SAR 166,650.

Deduction limits and flat rates

Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) rules cap consumer-finance repayments at roughly a third of salary for employees, lower for retirees and different with a mortgage; lenders apply their own checks, so confirm before relying on the result.

Car finance is usually quoted at a flat annual rate charged on the original amount for the whole term, which costs more than the same reducing rate. Compare offers by APR and total cost, and budget for insurance, fees and any balloon payment.
