Comprehensive Calculator Guide

This calculator estimates the payout for unused annual leave when employment ends. It divides the monthly wage by 30 and multiplies by the days left: 15 days at SAR 7,500 a month is SAR 3,750. Enter a payout amount instead to see how many leave days it covers.

Entitlement and payout

Article 109 of the Saudi Labour Law gives at least 21 days of paid annual leave, rising to 30 after five consecutive years with the same employer. Leave cannot be cashed in while employed, but Article 111 entitles a worker who leaves to pay for leave earned and not taken.

The payout is usually based on the last wage, commonly the actual wage with fixed allowances; check your contract. At SAR 12,000, a day is SAR 400 and 21 days come to SAR 8,400.
