Comprehensive Calculator Guide
This calculator finds the mode, the most frequent value, and how often it appears, with a frequency table, and tells you when there are several modes or none. The mode of 3, 7, 7, 2, 9, 7, 3 is 7, appearing three times. It is the only average that works for non-numeric data.
The mode
Count each value; the one with the highest count is the mode. Ties give two or more modes; equal counts give none. Two clear modes can mean two groups mixed together.
