Comprehensive Calculator Guide
This calculator finds the median, the middle value of your data once sorted, showing its position for odd and even counts, the sorted data and the mean for comparison. The median of 12, 5, 8, 20, 7 is 8; of 4, 10, 6, 8 it is 7. Outliers don’t move it.
The median
Sort the values; with an odd count n the median is value (n + 1) ÷ 2, with an even count the average of the two middle values. Seven salaries with one of SAR 25,000 push the mean above 10,000, while the median stays at 7,800.
How to Use
- Enter the data separated by commas or spaces.
- No need to sort it.
- Press “Find the median” to see it and the sorted data.
Formula Used
