Comprehensive Calculator Guide
This calculator turns a test score or a number of correct answers into a percentage, with the points missed. 42 out of 50 is 84%, with 8 points missed. It also works backwards: enter the total and the percentage you want to see how many points you need.
Score to percentage and back
Divide your score by the total and multiply by 100: 42 ÷ 50 = 84%, 27 ÷ 40 = 67.5%. Counting correct answers works the same way when every question is worth the same.
To find the score for a target, multiply the total by the percentage: 90% of 60 is 54, so you can drop 6 points.
