Comprehensive Calculator Guide
This calculator shows how far you are toward a goal as a percentage, and what is left, whatever the goal: savings, monthly sales, pages to memorise or daily steps. SAR 7,500 saved toward SAR 20,000 is 37.5%, with 12,500 to go. Enter a goal and a percentage instead to get the matching amount.
Progress and overshoot
Divide what you have done by the goal and multiply by 100. Passing the goal gives more than 100% and a negative amount left: 115,000 against a 100,000 target is 115%.
Sales teams use it for targets and commissions; individuals for savings, weight or reading goals. Backwards, 80% of a 30-part goal is 24 parts.
